I’ve just heard about this way of blogging and am intrigued to see if any of you use it and is it any better than just using blogger itself.
A while back I did some shots of new work for the website so thought I’d share one or two here with some more detail. I love doing small pieces with the textiles. In a way they are a method of sketching the environment, making colour notes and exploring small detailed compositions quickly. They develop a spontaneous response to the creative spark and I’m often taken with them, not only as small pieces themselves but as Marquettes for bigger pieces.
I am going to post more soon but would just like to see how this “writer” works.
bye for noooooow xxx

I like Live Writer because it "keeps" my posts for me to retrieve whenever I want, it's controllable and stable. I don't lose posts half way through when whatever progam it is decides to fall over and swallow a whole post in one mouthful. I can work offline and post when I'm ready...
I guess I'm a convert!
Yep, me too, although I have been using Blogger lately but will probably go back to Livewriter as Blogger is unpredictable.
I'm glad to see you have given it a go Helen. It works for me for the same reasons as Gill's.
well I have to study this..but your little pieces are a study for me too since my back worsened and I must lay down most of the day (except walking)
love
I'd not heard of Live Writer. I hope you will let us know what you think of it!
I tried it too and liked the feel of it, but my son said my posts didn't look as good, he said the pics came up smaller, so I went back to blogger, I can only use it on the dreaded PC anyway!
Your little piece of textile art is exquisite!
